and what I love to write!
I am a Brit living in the North West of England with a rather long suffering husband who doesn’t really understand my obsession with writing gay romantic fiction! He tends to just pat me on the head and toddle off to read one of his historical novels <g>.
I’m a long time avid reader of romance with a dash of adventure who stumbled over ‘slash’ pairings and was an immediate convert. I’ve dabbled with writing on and off for years and it wasn’t long before my fingers were tapping away on the keyboard, inventing stories around two hot guys.
I want to tell stories that reveal how romance laces everything in life, and that it applies just as much to gay men as it does to any other couple. I like to explore the characters and what they see in each other, show how the relationship develops. Find out what it is that keeps them together after the first flush of attraction. Discover if what the characters go through pulls them apart, or makes them realize they will be stronger together.
I like to read a story with a good strong plot and believable characters and do my best to create that in my own work. I have a particular fondness for historical settings but have ventured into other genres now – including SF, Fantasy, Paranormal and Contemporary – finding the similarities as intriguing as the differences.
I love to hear from readers and will happily respond to any queries – contact me at Stevie@steviewoods.com

Cool! I’ve written some erotic short stories for a Norwegian magazine, mostly gay, and am trying to get them published as a book. Turns out it’s not very easy to find a publisher.
One of my current goals is to translate some of them into english, but that will probably take some time.
I also write poems and my first book will be out in april. I’d also like to write full-time and have realized that I need to use all the genres available.
Great how you have succeded with your writing. I’ll be back to read some more later.
